Windows 11 build leaked
Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 11 operating system has leaked online today. After screenshots were first published on Chinese site Baidu, the entire Windows 11 operating system has appeared online, featuring a new user interface, Start Menu, and more. The new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu are similar to those previously found in Windows 10X. Microsoft optimized Windows for dual-screen devices, before canceling this project in favor of Windows 11. Visually, the biggest changes you’ll see can be found in the taskbar. Microsoft has highlighted the app icons here, cleaned up the tray area, and included a new menu and *managed menu.
This updated Start Menu is a simplified version of what’s currently in Windows 10, without the Live Tiles. It includes pinned apps, recent files, and the ability to quickly shut down or restart Windows 11 devices. It’s actually easier than what’s in Windows 10 today. Microsoft also uses rounded corners throughout Windows 11. They appear in context menus and in applications and in File Explorer. The Start Menu itself also includes rounded corners. This is still an early version of Windows 11 that has been leaked, so not everything is included yet.
You may have noticed new icons on the Windows 11 taskbar, and your Widgets are written into the operating system. Rumors have suggested that Microsoft is bringing back Windows Widgets, and this previous version seems to include some. As this is a very old version of Windows 11, the widgets are not fully loaded into the operating system but are designed to slide in and provide quick access to news, weather and other web content.
When Microsoft canceled its Windows 10X operating system, it’s clear that the company is redirecting that work with Windows 11. Windows 10X was originally designed for dual-screen devices, before moving to mainstream computers and then being canceled. Windows 10X included a number of improved and simplified features in Windows, and much of that work is in this leaked version of Windows 11. Windows 11 also includes new graphics controls that you can access from *managed* in all apps. They are the modern equivalent of sliding windows that have been around for years. You can quickly detach windows or arrange them in sections on your desktop.
Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any major updates on the Windows Store yet. Since this is a leaked version, it is possible that any updates that Microsoft is planning have yet to appear. The Windows Store interface is basically the same as Windows 10 now, with access to all the apps available today.
Microsoft has been working on a new app store for Windows over the past few months, and rumors suggest it will be a big departure from what’s there today. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has promised to open up huge economic opportunities for Windows developers and creators, and that could come in the form of a new store. Microsoft is changing its Windows app store to allow developers to submit any Windows app, including browsers like Chrome or Firefox.Microsoft may also be considering allowing third-party trading systems in apps, allowing developers to avoid Microsoft’s ban on in-app purchase systems.
Elsewhere, Microsoft has also included a new setup experience in Windows 11. It’s very similar to Windows 10X, for users moving to new hardware or upgrading to Windows 11 through a set of Windows setup steps. This out-of-the-box experience also includes a new Windows 11 startup sound on every boot. Microsoft is also improving the Xbox experience on Windows 11. The new Xbox app is now integrated into Windows 11, providing quick access to Xbox Game Pass games, the social parts of the Xbox network and the Xbox store. The Xbox Game Bar and Windows Game Mode remain the same as Windows 10 in this leaked build.
Microsoft has been giving hints that it is ready to release Windows 11. The software giant is organizing a special Windows event to launch its upcoming operating system on June 24. includes a window that creates a shadow and outline that resembles the number 11. Microsoft executives have also been teasing the announcement of the next generation of Windows for several months now, and this leak now confirms that Windows. 11 will be officially revealed later this month.
