With VMware Workstation, technology professionals can develop, test, demonstrate, and deploy software while simultaneously running multiple x86-based Windows, Linux, and other operating systems on the same computer.

You can replicate server, desktop, and tablet environments in a single virtual machine and allocate multiple CPU cores, gigabytes of memory, and graphics memory to each virtual machine, whether the virtual machine resides on a PC or in a private enterprise cloud.

Fixed issues

The following issues are resolved in VMware Workstation

A Linux guest OS booted with EFI firmware sometimes becomes unresponsive to the keyboard and mouse when the mouse is moved during a short window during OS boot. This problem is solved.

Outlook 2010 sometimes crashes when running in Unity mode. This problem is solved.

You cannot compact or defragment the persistent disk. This problem is solved.

The user interface sometimes crashes when the user copies and pastes a file between two Windows guests. This problem is solved.

Fixed rendering errors in UI elements in Fedora 20 guests when 3D is enabled.

When creating a new virtual machine with SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12, the easy install path was not available. This problem is solved.
